J. Michael Orifici, President |
|
|
|
|
|
J. Michael Orifici’s remarkable
35-year career in the real
estate and construction
industries is highlighted by
specific experience in project
coordination and scheduling for
“fast track” projects and
occupied structures undergoing
renovations.
His first company High Point
Construction Company, a
prosperous general contracting
company (rated in the top 500
nationally), which he founded in
1979, handled every type of
construction project including
corporate, municipal,
educational, and health
services.
As President of J. Michael
Orifici & Associates (JMOA)
since its founding in 1984, J.
Michael managed more than $2.5
billion in construction for
projects ranging from $3-100
million. He propelled JMOA to a
position of leadership in the
field of Educational
Construction Administration,
ranked number 60 of the top 100
CM firms in the country
(Engineering News Record 2001).
His renown grew as difficult,
almost impossible projects were
completed on time, against all
odds.
In this regard, he
spearheaded such programs as CIP
(Construction Implementation
Plan) protecting occupants
throughout the duration of a
construction program.
In 2002, Mr. Orifici’s career
took an astonishing turn into
the realm of software
development. Within two years he
fulfilled his vision to develop
software to meet the needs of
NYS school districts and other
public agencies. His vision has
created web-based applications (CapProSoft®)
that assist in tracking and
reporting on multi-faceted,
multi-year, multi-contract,
multi-million dollar capital
improvement programs.
Mr. Orifici lends his
construction expertise in the
form of consulting, issue
resolution, construction claims
analyses, project feasibility
review and project development.
His role includes project
planning, where he supervises
scheduling, estimating, value
engineering and project
partnership goals. His career
path has been noted for success,
integrity, sensitivity and
achievement. Mr. Orifici’s personal
attention and overall
supervision in not only the
preliminary planning stages, but
through project completion,
insures that each project is
completed on time, on budget and
according to the highest
standards in the industry.
His stewardship of JMOA and
Capital Projects Consulting,
LLC, has earned for him a
reputation as one of the top
construction managers in the US.
Owners, architects, attorneys
and administrators rely upon him
as an experienced consultant to
navigate their projects through
turbulent issues.
